It seems to be the thing lately to talk about Michelle Obama’s arms and how beautifully toned they are. Maybe it’s because we haven’t had a First Lady who exercises 3 days a week to stay in great shape. Nevertheless women want toned arms just like she has.
The problem arises for overweight women who have their sites set on having toned arms just like the First Lady when they go out and buy a set of dumbbells, do some workouts and don’t see any changes. Frustration sets in and they quit. What is the reason you ask? The answer is simple and it applies to abs or arms or butt or any other part of the body you want to change. You need to change the WHOLE BODY!
I’m not saying that working out your arms is bad and in fact any exercise is good for you but when you expect a change to one part of your body it won’t happen that way.
Exercising only your arms is a small percentage of your body. If you exercise 10% of your body it should go as saying that you should only expect to see 10% results. But these results happen all over so many times they go unnoticed. It’s important to not focus on just one area of your body but your entire body. Only then will you truly see the results you desire.
What’s the quickest way to getting results for weight loss? Exercise and diet. There’s no getting around it. These two go hand in hand and are vital for not only weight loss but also a healthy life.
